30 nov 2011 - European cooperation with Griffid

Embsec has signed a cooperation agreement with Dutch company Griffid. Griffid is a fast growing organization focused on the development of open management software for video and events. The platform is able to support a wide variety of IP camera providers, video servers, Digital Video Recorders and IP sensors, which makes the software functional in a wide range of applications. Griffid software can also be used in alarm control rooms addressing their need to verify alarms using live video.

- The Benelux region is an important market where Griffid has a leading role supplying video management software. With this cooperation agreement we ensure full compatibility between Embsec surveillance products and the Griffid software, thus allowing Griffid users to easily add Embsec products to their surveillance systems. Griffid is also involved in many customised surveillance systems where our products are more cost effective and performs better than regular camera solutions. With the enhanced cooperation between our companies we hope to be a leading supplier of network based surveillance sensors in the region, says Erik Lindstein, CEO at Embsec.

The cooperation agreement was signed at the Swedish embassy in The Hague and was arranged by Enterprise Europe Network, an organisation focusing on supporting European business.
